Callum Locke is a cattle rancher with a gruff exterior, a soft heart, and a habit of taking in strays. TJ Morris may not be the first stranger to show up at Locke Ranch looking for help, but he's stranger than most. TJ claims to be doing research for a book, but there's more to the young man's request than a desire to learn the ins-and-outs of cattle ranching.
